At her 2013 debut at the Japan National Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, Sumire Kita became the youngest ever to take 2nd place. Her coach, Yu Liu, had been a Chinese national team gymnast until an injury at age 17. Liu came to Japan to study and met Kita at her small gymnastics studio in Kagawa Prefecture, recognizing a gymnast with the potential to become great under her coaching. We follow the pair as they prepare for the National Championships, their eyes firmly on the Olympics.
